Smart online marketers know that your email list contains big money.

The idea is to build the biggest and highest quality email list possible. One that is responsive to your sales offers.

The question is… “How?”

I’ll share with you a proven strategy for making maximum money from your email list. Before we get going, it’s crucial for you to understand the mindset of the typical person who joins an email list.

People who join email lists do so because they believe they will get valuable info. You need to contact them consistently. Also, they don’t mind sales messages as long as you don’t bombard them with those.

Contacting email subscribers is easy. Just get yourself an autoresponder. Like Aweber for example. Sending good info is easy too. Because you’ll be setting up an email list about a topic you know a lot about. And you have to send them ads about products. That how you make money online.

Your ezine should go out every week. You can add ezine messages to your autoresponder for a full year on a weekly basis. Pack these weekly ezines with valuable info.

During each week you also work in separate emails that contain offers.

Use email broadcasts for these sales offers at first. In time, you can include the winning offers in your follow up autoresponder series.

If you don’t have your own product then promote affiliate products. Pick at least ten affiliate products you like. For each product, send out two or three emails during the same week.

Repeat the system we just discussed until you go through all the affiliate products. As I said before, do this with ten or fifteen of them.

Once you run through the affiliate product promotions see which ones were best sellers. Take the two or three you got the most sales from and use those to create your own version of them. Of course, this is easiest to do with information type products like ebooks.

In a few short months, you’ll have a bunch of your own hot sellers. Plug the promotions for these products into your autoresponder series.

In addition, you can take the one product that is bringing in the most money… and… create a high priced info product.

Sometimes I forego creating my own version of the product and just create a high-priced coaching program. It depends. The idea is to let your subscribers tell you what they will buy. Based on affiliate products they are purchasing. Then you develop your own version of the best selling affiliate products.

Repeat this process and you’ll maximize your list profits guaranteed.

Everything comes down to having a big list of responsive people. That’s where the money is. Therefore, building your list should be your number one priority.

The majority of your success on the Internet is due to generating traffic and getting those people to join your list. It’s rather easy to do this. Here’s how…

STEP ONE: Adopt the mindset that list building is the focal point of your business. In other words, put all your effort into getting people to opt in to your list. Everything you do should have this single end in mind.

Next, create a “hook” that compels people to join your list. The hook is usually some valuable information product you give away for free. You put up a simple web page promoting that freebie. To get it people have to give you their email address. Fair exchange if you ask me.

STEP THREE: Drive traffic to this lead capture page almost exclusively. Of course, how you drive traffic is also critical. Let’s talk about traffic generation methods.

My favorite ones include: article marketing… ezine advertising… and… reciprocal joint ventures.

Article marketing is simple. You write up a 500 to 600 word article about a topic your market is interested in. At the end of the article you include a resource box with a link to your lead capture page.

Submit at least one article per week to the different article directories. You can do a simple search online to find article submission services and software. It’s best to use these instead of trying manual submissions.

Most ezine take advertising. They are like online newsletters so a lot of them get all their revenue from advertisers. You can place either classified text ads or send out solo emails.

Since you are building a list, use ezine ads to get people to the opt in page. That’s the whole point. The more people you get there the more will opt in and the bigger the list will grow.

Joint ventures are a little more tricky. The idea is to find people in your market with lists who are not direct competitors. Then ask them to promote your free offer to their list. And, of course, you’ll do the same for them.

Obviously, your list has to be as big or bigger than the joint venture partner’s to make this “MO” work. As your list grows joint venture opportunities will pop up all over the place.

Here’s the key to success: Every single day work on traffic generation and adding people to your list. Nothing is more important than this. So focus on it.
